RETAIL

Beyond just creating a good-looking store with aesthetically pleasing displays, retail store design is a well-thought-out strategy to set up a store in a certain way to optimize space and sales.

Queenston Lewiston Duty Free

Scope: New Build, Retail, Café and Offices
Location: Queenston, ON

Recently, the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission revitalized the areas surrounding the Queenston Lewiston Bridge.  A building for the Queenston Lewiston Duty Free was a part of this plan. The new building reflects a more modern design and the expanded interior allowed a reallocation of retail areas and products. The 8,000 sq. ft. retail area contains fragrances, confectionary, jewellery, wines and spirits.  There is also a café, washrooms and an administration area. The complete interior design was created from within the shell, including ceilings, lighting, fixtures and all finishes.

In 2015, the Queenston Lewiston Duty Free won the Category B Platinum Award for Best Canadian Land Border Store by the Frontier Duty Free Association.
